How do you write a volunteer handbook and what should it include?

We have an example Volunteer Handbook that you can find here, and an editable version can be found on our website here -
It details all of the requirements to keep volunteers and members safe and to understand their roles.

You can amend the volunteer handbook template to suit the needs of the club and its volunteers. As we all know, keeping volunteers happy and feeling valued in the role they carry out for the club is key to retention, so the handbook is a great way to ensure they know how much the club appreciates what they do as well as offers them support and clarity. - Actify
